Mike Thompson

I've worked in IT for the last 35 years, starting out with industrial control systems in the 1990s, eventually landing in information security in the 2010s.  

I run the information security function at Zen Internet - a mid-sized internet, telecoms and managed services company, based in the Northwest of England, where I've been for the past 13 years.  

As an active member of the UK information security community, I've helped organise and run numerous events, as well as delivered presentations at many conferences as well as into industry and academic settings.
