Chris Spinks

Chris Spinks has worked in cyber security for more than a decade, both through DFIR and investigations within UK Law enforcement and in Cyber Security and Risk Management in his current roles, where he operates as Head of Operations for a Cyber Threat Intelligence company, and MD of his own consultancy, specialising in the threat landscape and risk exposure. 

In UK Law Enforcement Chris traversed a varied career, operating in overt and covert roles as a detective and detective sergeant before he settled into Cyber operations. Having left Law Enforcement Chris started his own business, providing threat assessments and Technical Due Diligence to businesses across the UK and supporting threat mitigation where relevant. 

As Head of Operations in Cyjax, Chris leads a strong threat intelligence team, who continue to develop new innovative approaches to threat actor tracking. In his spare time Chris loves to hit the trails on his mountain bike or test his skills in the motorbike trials arena.
